Hello, my name is Nuch.
It’s lovely to have you here.

Welcome to The Thai Soul — my little home on the internet.

I created this website to bring together two things that have become very meaningful to me: my love of learning languages and my love of sharing the Thai language and culture.

My journey to becoming a Thai teacher did not begin with a plan to become a teacher. It began with my own journey as a language learner.

In my late thirties, I completed my Master’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. During those years of studying, I realized something that changed the way I looked at my future:

English was not just a language. It was a key to learning more about the world.

The better my English became, the more information, knowledge, and opportunities became available to me.

So, after completing my Master’s degree, I set myself a new goal:
I wanted to improve my English.

That journey started eight years ago.

To be honest, I still don’t speak English like a native speaker, and I may not speak as fluently as many other people. But when I look back at the woman I was eight years ago, I can see how far I have come.

I learned that language cannot be mastered overnight.

It grows through small, consistent steps — five minutes, ten minutes, a little every day.

Over eight years, those small efforts have made a big difference.

I learned mostly by myself, and I was also lucky enough to meet kind friends from different countries who were willing to talk with me, practice with me, and encourage me.

And something beautiful happened along the way.

While I was practicing English with my international friends, I realized that I could also help them learn Thai.

I wanted to give something back to the friends who had helped me improve my English.

So I decided to study how to teach Thai to foreigners. I wanted to understand the right way to teach Thai, rather than simply teaching from what I personally knew.

Through learning, practicing, and exchanging languages with people from different cultures, I discovered that teaching Thai could become more than just a hobby.

It could become my second career.

And perhaps, one day, it could become something I created with my own hands — something that truly belonged to me.

That was one of the reasons The Thai Soul was born.

More Than Just Learning Thai

I don’t want this website to be just a place where you learn Thai grammar, vocabulary, or sentences.

I want it to be a window into Thailand.

Through Thai language, I hope you can discover the way we communicate, the way we think, our everyday life, our traditions, our culture, and the little things that make Thailand feel like Thailand.

Because when you learn a language, you don’t just learn words.

You begin to understand the people behind those words.

So, welcome to my home.

I hope The Thai Soul can be a warm little place where you can learn Thai, discover Thailand, and connect with Thai people and Thai culture in a more meaningful way.
